A ballebäuschen is a sweet pastry that was baked in the Bergisches Land for cosy family celebrations. The restaurant of the same name in the Reichshof is also cosy, where the Allmanns serve classics such as truffled slices of saddle of veal on ox ragout with mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables, wild-caught king prawns in brown butter with Parmesan tortellini or game specialities from local hunting.
