Gault&Millau's review 2025

The newly designed room in the Weinkirche restaurant shines in a brighter, inviting ambience after the renovation. Soft grey and orange tones replace the dark, rustic design, but at the same time retain the historic charm. Light streams through the stained glass windows into the interior, which dates back to the year 600, and creates a friendly atmosphere, while the terrace offers a wonderful view of the greenery. The menu combines creative, regional elements of classic cuisine. Recommendations are the ox cheeks braised in Ahr Burgundy or the turbot fillet on chanterelle risotto. Small delicacies such as the Sanct Peter's Vesperbrett are available from 2 to 6 pm.
