If you want to experience Eltville in its full authenticity, you should definitely plan a visit to the "Krug". Here, the motto "Use the time, because it's too good to waste it" not only comes alive, but also becomes the philosophy of the house. Since 1720, the "Krug" has been run by the Laufer family in the third generation and combines tradition and hospitality in a unique way. In a cozy, wood-paneled ambience, guests can expect a kitchen with regional, classic dishes made from fresh, seasonal ingredients. Special classics are the Rheingau blood sausage and the sauerbraten from organic pasture-raised beef. The wine list includes Rheingau classics and rarities that date back to the 1950s.
