Gault&Millau's review 2025

At the Aying Brewery Inn, tradition meets enjoyment - in a cosy atmosphere that has been convincing for seven generations. Here, the focus is on regional and seasonal ingredients, which are transformed into fine, down-to-earth dishes. Classics such as the Wiener Schnitzel of saddle of veal, tenderly fried in barrel butter and accompanied by hand-stirred cranberries, or braised lamb from the Poltinger Gutshof with radicchio and pear chutney are among the recommendations. Not only fine wines go well with it, but also the popular Ayinger beer specialities. And in summer: be sure to take a seat on the beautiful terrace behind the house and enjoy the ambience!
