Gault&Millau's review 2025

The name suggests it: In the small, elongated, unpretentious Schöneberg restaurant with a pleasant courtyard (it's nicer to sit there than inside), it's primarily about wine. To be precise, it's first about wine, then about sparkling wine and then about the cuisine, because the menu of wine lobbyist Serhat Aktas lists 83 sparkling wines from Germany and Austria alone. The approximately 700 items, of which almost 30 are served openly, leave nothing to be desired, but the cuisine has also blossomed strongly in recent years. Chef Ronny Marx serves not only vintage sardines, tarte flambée or charcuterie from the Styrian Vulkanland, but also a changing three- to five-course menu with creative, minimalist, aesthetically arranged interpretations of seasonal ingredients. There is always crispy-spicy pork belly from the Thuringian Duroc with kimchi, but the vegetarian options are also worth a second look.
