Gault&Millau's review 2025

A purist brasserie style in a relaxed atmosphere serves modern, regional and uncomplicated cuisine with Mediterranean accents and the best local ingredients. A dynamic, friendly team ensures a stylish and relaxed world of enjoyment. The menu is small, but fine: The "bites to share" include freshly baked sourdough bread with hay butter every day as well as delicious treats such as brioche with duck liver pâté, mountain ash and horseradish or steamed dumplings with horseradish yoghurt and pickled beef fillet - small, carefully prepared appetizers that are fun. The Styrian sour cream soup with Brussels sprouts and a hint of beet syrup was particularly convincing, as was the duet of grilled wild duck from Farmer Mann's game chamber, accompanied by braised carrot and Persian lime. In addition, an individually compiled drinks menu with cider, beer, spirits and selected wines.
