Whether in the fireplace room in the half-timbered house or in the pleasant guest garden: Bilal Dogan's guests enjoy Italian hospitality far beyond pizza and pasta (both are of course available and in upscale variations – naturalmente with gamberi – nevertheless). Rather un-Italian, but no less skilfully prepared than the Mediterranean specialties: the duet of foie gras (fried and as a terrine) or tartare and tataki of hamachi in ponzu broth. Whether scallop with octopus or venison veal in chocolate jus: impeccable ingredients impeccably prepared. We miss a little a clear direction, but we also enjoy the variety and good, mainly Italian wines.
