Gault&Millau's review 2025

In the middle of Naumburg's historic old town, satisfaction spreads in every respect. A short walk from the famous cathedral, there is ambitious cuisine à la carte or at a low price as a three- to five-course menu. Scallops in beurre blanc with caramelized chicory, fried monkfish on risotto with lardo espuma or wonderfully braised cheeks of acorn-fed pig in cassis jus are served. In addition, selected wines from Saale and Unstrut, which can be enjoyed with peace of mind if you get hold of one of the friendly rooms in the adjoining boutique hotel. Recommended!
