Gault&Millau's review 2025

The historic Buschkamp inn in Bielefeld-Senne has long since become a culinary institution that combines Westphalian tradition with modern cuisine. In a charming ambience of restored half-timbering and stylish details, guests can expect a creative balance of regional classics and contemporary dishes. These include, for example, Westphalian kale with Mettenden or salt marsh saddle of lamb with vanilla sherry jus. Ingredients from the region as well as from the hotel's own gardens underline the focus on sustainability. The wine list offers an excellent selection of German wines. Tip: The home-baked sourdough bread made from organic grain from Gut Rosenkranz can be purchased in advance in the restaurant.
