The path to the new gastronomic home of Sarah Henke and Christian Eckhardt, who previously cooked in the restaurants YOSO and PURS in Andernach, leads through the industrial area of Boppard. But you shouldn't be deterred by this, because at the end of the path you stand in front of a modern building and rub your eyes. The restaurant is tastefully styled, the interior a successful mix between casual and elegant. Equally a fitting symbiosis is the culinary offer of Sarah Henke's Asian-inspired aroma cuisine and Christian Eckhardt's French-based haute cuisine, which he implements with remarkable clarity of taste and sophistication. The ideal start to multifaceted culinary delights is Henke's tuna sashimi, arranged with passion fruit, avocado and radish. Or the Black Tiger prawns baked in tempura batter, to which Henke gives a refreshingly aromatic tension with a chilli mayo and sweet and sour pickled radish. In addition, a slice of miso aubergine, decorated with spring onions and sesame seeds, arranged on slightly spicy rice. Great! The grilled pork belly on kimchi is a spicy-spicy taste duo in a class of its own. Christian Eckhardt trumps with a confit cod, which is washed by a first-class beurre blanc and served with slightly creamy savoy cabbage refined with chestnuts. The family-friendly offer, which is particularly close to Sarah Henke and Christian Eckhardt's heart, includes generously topped pizzas from the stone oven, various burgers, pasta, homemade fish fingers and children's wok with rice and vegetables for the little ones. The drinks menu is well stocked, the service is accessible, friendly and competent in all questions.
