Bold seasoning, bold opening hours, bold wine selection – Amadeus Kura has not only carefully transformed the Löwengrube from the former rustic wine bar into a fine restaurant with a contemporary interior, but also into a place to go for gourmets and wine connoisseurs alike. Food and drinks are worth a visit in themselves. The trout with buttermilk and cucumber sounds mild on paper, but thanks to salty and sour accents, it is a persistently striking pleasure. And for the wildly determined black flamed chard and fried chicken skewer, Kura deserves scene applause. The delicately crispy thalers of the dessert, in combination with rhubarb compote and mousse and woodruff sorbet, form a conclusion that keeps the tension. In addition, there are excellent alternatives for every requirement, from the wines by the glass to those offered in the accompaniment to those stowed in two climate cabinets.
