Gault&Millau's review 2025

You should go to the Long March Canteen in groups – because then it's worth ordering as many of the small authentic Chinese dishes as possible. The menus for two, three or more people list twelve or thirteen plates for a reason. Although the atmosphere is trendy and stylish, a visit to the Canteen is also fun with children, because you can eat easily at simple tables with wooden benches, and since the inventory is scratched anyway, one or the other decoration doesn't matter. On the other hand, the dim sum and dumplings, which are available in a large selection cold and warm, are not at all scratchy. Definitely recommended are the pork ribs in soy honey sauce with lots of fresh coriander, the sweet Brandenburg carp Shanghai style or the crispy quail in the vegetable nest.
