Gault&Millau's review 2025

In the middle of Bremerhaven's fishing port lies an institution known for its fresh fish cuisine. Just a few steps away, the catch of the day is auctioned off in the auction halls and artfully processed into dishes that reflect the taste of the coast. A classic is the fillet of Jutland haddock in vegetable and Riesling steam on mustard seed sauce, coastal potatoes and cucumber-dill salad - a real greeting from the North Sea coast. Mediterranean surf & turf creations such as the brandade of skrei with grilled fennel or crispy Iberian belly in truffle jus build a bridge between land and sea. Whether in the fine dining room or the rustic parlour - fish simply tastes best on the coast.
