Gault&Millau's review 2025

Daniel Gottschlich has given his former sous chef Johannes Langenstück from the Ox & Klee a new job – and made him head chef in the chic bistro in the ultra-modern Hotel Legend, which cuts a surprisingly good figure with its purist concrete look right next to the Gothic town hall tower. Langenstück also does this, serving well-made snacks such as raw marinated salmon with passion fruit under ayran foam at the bar, at high tables along the window front or on the terrace. As individual portions or to share, there are fried octopus and chorizo with burrata foam and black garlic, hanging tenders (kidney cones) in truffle jus or stuffed zucchini with fregola sarda in saffron stock. If you have more time in the lively restaurant, you can also have the Chef's Choice menu served in three variants. An urban feel-good place.
