If you reserve in time, you will win the main prize: In the beautiful little garden of the Admiral is the village's former post office, which has been converted into a beautiful guest room. However, only one. And it is recommended to take advantage of this with the extensive Palatinate wine list, which offers the liquid setting for the finely chiselled creations of Holger Stehr. But even without an overnight stay, reservations are a good idea, because the restaurant in the beautiful historic building has only five tables, which are quickly taken in view of the quality offered. Martina Kraemer-Stehr and her husband met and fell in love as sommeliers and head pâtissiers, before starting their own business ten years ago they were together at the Ketschauer Hof (now L.A. Jordan). The signature of the pâtisserie can also be felt in the main courses – everything served is finely arranged and subtly tuned, while the aromas are inspired less by sweetness than by the European South and Far East, and like to play with citrus notes, such as the goose liver in ice cream and terrine form with Thai mango and coffee shoyu, or the Ora King salmon with mandarin, a miniature artichoke barigoule, black radish and Nashi pear. It goes without saying that the desserts are in no way inferior to the quality of the menu. A delight!
