The gourmet restaurant Field at the Hotel Katerberg, run by Salvatore Fontanazza and his family, offers a culinary experience for discerning guests. The menu is renewed every three months. As a recommendation: The Moroccan smoked octopus impresses with its delicate, juicy texture and harmonizes perfectly with smoky aromas. Fresh peas add a sweet note and crunchiness that balance the smoky flavors. The saddle of lamb impresses with a savory taste, while cauliflower offers a mildly nutty note with a fresh, slightly bitter citrus component and balanced spiciness. To finish off, a sophisticated chocolate cremeux is recommended. A special highlight is the Chef's Table in the bar area, where up to six guests can watch the team at work. The wine list offers an excellent selection with over a dozen wines by the glass, a variety of international bottled wines and some rare rarities.
