Gault&Millau's review 2025

The Einhorn is dignified – the farmhouse parlour in the well-kept, modernised country inn from 1806 sets the stage for classic Swabian regional cuisine and an ambitious four- or five-course menu, which can also be more international with red prawn in lemongrass broth and baked rolls of wakame seaweed. Otherwise, however, solidly made dishes such as beef roulade on red cabbage, wonderful Maultäschle in the broth or roasted, sour tripe in Trollinger sauce or Swabian roast onion beef with Lemberger sauce and hand-scraped spaetzle dominate. As a classic indicator of a good restaurant in the southwestern part of the republic, the local juicy and tender representative does not have to shy away from any comparison.
