Gault&Millau's review 2025

There is a classic and an innovative menu in the Schwögler restaurant from the kitchen of Anna Gabelsberger: both are mixed with German and Italian. Classics include fried king prawns with two kinds of pesto and garlic crostini or roast beef with onions with beans and potato biscuits, while "My sweet potato and ginger soup" with gyoza or saddle of venison with salted apple-caramel mousse and cranberry jus are innovative. For dessert, there is an interpretation of the hip Dubai chocolate or a solidly made chocolate soufflé with a liquid core. Stylish dining room, beautiful terrace in summer.
