Gault&Millau's review 2025

The Landhaus Stricker has been one of the good addresses on Sylt for decades - Holger Bodendorf runs the Siebzehn84 there next to Bodendorf's in a casual, cozy ambience. From marinated veal boiled beef with mushroom confit and Pommery mustard ice cream to gâteaux of duck liver with hazelnut cream and quince confit to the braised beef cheeks of Husum pasture beef with glazed parsnips in aromatic braised jus, the kitchen has been pleasantly upgraded compared to previous years without becoming too chic. The wine list is the same as in Bodendorf's, the selection is correspondingly extensive.
