Gault&Millau's review 2025

In the chic ambience of a villa far outside the center, Martino Resta serves good Mediterranean-Italophile dishes from the kitchen of Pascal Erdhütter. The tasting menu changes monthly and offers, for example, brandade of halibut with puntarella and beetroot or braised ox cheeks with black salsify in Madeira jus. À la carte there are fresh oysters, good homemade pasta dishes in upscale combinations depending on the season, or king prawns and octopus with saffron risotto. On Sundays there is roast meat (which can also turn out to be duck breast), the good wine list has a clear Italian focus, and a beautiful veranda with a view of the countryside.
