Gault&Millau's review 2025

The Vinothek by Geisel has long since ceased to be an insider tip - in fact, it is a permanent fixture among wine and pleasure lovers. In the middle of Munich, just a stone's throw from the Stachus, it is a wonderful place to stop for a bite to eat in a cosy ambience under a high cross-vaulted ceiling and numerous decorative wine bottles. And the gastro legend lives on even after the departure of Robert Zeller with Felix Jungwirth. You can choose a 3-course menu from the menu. For example, black pudding ravioli with champagne cabbage and marjoram or Poltinger saddle of venison with glazed Brussels sprout leaves, pear and polenta soufflé are offered. And of course the wine list: Here you will find the great classics with a beautiful depth of vintage.
